No more paper, no more books....

School is OUT!!!

Friday was Ash's last day of school. The school puts on a dance festival each and every year. It was fun to see the progression of the grades, from the kindergarten "toe-knee, chest-nut" dance, to the swing dance the 6th graders perform.
After all the grades are done everybody is invited to do the "Boot Scootin' Boogie". It is so much fun to watch everyone try to figure out what the...
I would really rather watch than dance. If I danced I would miss the lost expressions. Besides, I wouldn't want to make anyone feel like less of a line dancer.

Ashlyn's class danced to the Lion King's "I just can't wait to be king." I am not sure of the exact title, however that is what we have been singing since the beginning of rehearsals.
Here are a few video clips of her dancing.
Don't forget to pause Jen's tunes and listen to the song.
(That way YOU all can sing it for the next day:D)

Thanks for coming, Mom and Dad.

We were sad to say goodbye to Mrs. Andrews. She is a great teacher with 20+ years experience. We were blessed to be able to be in one of her last years of teaching. Ashlyn has enjoyed having her as her teacher for first grade.
